Cecil A. Alexander, Jr., was born on March 14, 1918. He ws the grandson of Julius M. Alexander (MSS 442), the nephew of Henry A. Alexander (MSS 476), and the son of Cecil A. Alexander (MSS 24). After graduating from Yale University, he married Hermione Weil and fought in World War II. After the war he became a successful architect in Atlanta.
